Fair Tax Mark

I'm absolutely delighted to be able to announce that Engaged Consulting has become the very first independent licensed Fair Tax Mark Assessor.

I've been following the Fair Tax Mark from its inception, and believe that the recent announcement of SSE plc as the first FTSE100 recipient of the mark is a significant milestone.

Richard Livings of the Fair Tax Mark said:
"We are delighted to be able to announce the ground breaking news that we have signed our first external assessor. We are particularly excited to be working with Engaged Consulting, who understand that a company's attitude towards tax is a vital part of how their reputation will be judged.
By helping companies achieve the Fair Tax Mark, we hope that Engaged Consulting can help more of them use the label as a part of a wider Corporate Social Responsibility strategy."

Fair Tax Mark aims to be a kite mark for business taxation, reflecting businesses interested in either improving their tax credentials, or publicising already responsible behaviour.

Ed Mayo, Secretary General of Co-operatives UK described fair tax as "the new fair trade".

We look forward to working with a range of businesses to obtain the Fair Tax Mark, and help those businesses realise the reputational and commercial benefits of demonstrating a responsible approach to tax.
